SimpelFact Online has been around for a number of years. What you see now is something else: the same name, but rebuilt from the ground up, with everything twenty years of SimpelFact have taught us about what our users need.
You notice the difference straight away. The new version works on every platform. You open your browser and you are in your administration, on the computer at the office, on the tablet at a customer’s, or on your phone on the road. Windows, Mac, Linux, iOS, Android, it makes no difference. There is nothing to install and nothing to update, and we make the backups, every day, on a Dutch server.
What you can do with it today: create invoices and send them as a PDF by email, record customers and articles once and pick them with a click after that, have VAT worked out with several rates on a single invoice, send reminders and demands for payment, and see on one screen who still has to pay. Switch on the payment link and your customer pays by iDEAL or credit card, and the invoice moves to paid by itself. Quotes are made with the quotes module. And everything is there in five languages, set per customer, so your German customer receives an invoice in German.
And we are nowhere near finished. At the top of the list are links with accounting packages, so that your invoices go straight into the bookkeeping without being retyped. Which packages those will be depends on what their interfaces allow; we work that out package by package before we start building. After that comes the sales cycle: from quote to order to invoice at the press of a button, packing slip included. And later e-invoicing through Peppol, so that you can also invoice public bodies and large clients the way they want to receive it.
Everything that is added becomes a separate module that you switch on per administration when you need it. You never pay for parts you do not use.

Then you will move across to this new environment over the coming months. We are counting on about six months for the whole transition, and you will hear well in advance when it is your turn and what is expected of you. You will not be on your own: we will guide you through it, so that your data comes with you and you can carry on working without any trouble.
Coming from SimpelFact Desktop?
That version will keep working on Windows for the time being, but no new versions will be added. You bring your customers, articles and invoices with you using the import assistant. The Migration page explains exactly how that works.
